Black and white image of traditional Indigenous clothing. Text overlaying the image that says, "VALOR honors Indigenous Peoples' Day"

This year, VALOR selected the theme Collective Voice. Collective Action. Collective Power. for major awareness months and events. We’ve called on individuals, communities, and systems to embody this theme as we continue to progress our work to end sexual violence by advancing equity.

Indigenous Peoples’ Day requires us to reckon with our past and push for change. VALOR is committed to deepening our support of Native and Indigenous survivors, advocates, and communities, and uplifting their work.

Take time to explore Native and Indigenous anti-violence organizations and learn more about their ongoing work.
