Linda Schwartz received her Bachelor’s in Psychology from San Diego State University in 2000 and her Master’s in MFT at University of Phoenix in 2007. She began her career at Green Oaks Ranch working within the Foster Care System. She interviewed children ages 5-17 who were brought into protective custody by Child Welfare Services. She then became an ICWA Social Worker at Indian Health Council, Inc. Linda provided reunification services to Native families at IHC for 5.5 years. She is currently the Program Services Director for Strong Hearted Native Women’s Coalition. Linda has been with SHNWC since May 2015. Linda oversees SHNWC’s 3 Native specific DV shelters. She also works with the local community agencies by providing assistance for victims of violence.
