Description

This web conference will provide staff new to the RPE Program an opportunity to learn about the fundamentals of the RPE Program, how a public health framework is applied to prevent sexual violence (SV) and to meet colleagues across the state. The training will be interactive and include discussion with other RPE Program staff. It will include two (2) components: 1) discuss the fundamentals of SV prevention to apply best practices to local programs and 2) discuss RPE Programs approaches and strategies and how to apply them to their local programs.

 

Audience: Currently funded Rape Prevention Education (RPE) Program Staff.



Learning Objectives

  • Identify and define key areas of RPE Program Fundamentals including prevention, community change, and outcomes.
  • Identify community engagement approaches and strategies currently applied to the RPE program.
  • Identify one (1) area for further study.
