Mimi Kim is a long-time anti-violence advocate, activist, and practitioner of community accountability/transformative justice interventions. As a co-founder of Incite! in 2000 and founder of Creative Interventions in 2004, she has centered radical feminists of color movements and strategies challenging the intersection of state-based and interpersonal violence. Mimi is an Associate Professor of Social Work at California State University, Long Beach and continues research, practice, and organizing for liberation. Her latest projects include a non-law enforcement restorative justice project in Northern California, and a re-launch of the StoryTelling & Organizing Project (STOP).
