Danah Vasquez (she/her) is a lifelong advocate and educator on activism and systemic change. She was introduced to sexual assault prevention and advocacy early in life, as her mother worked for a local rape crisis center. After lecturing at a university level on colonialism and decolonization, she joined VALOR in 2024.

As VALOR's Communications Coordinator, Danah focuses on narrative-based storytelling to bring survivor voices and stories to life. She coordinates internal and external communications while bringing attention to themes like power dynamics to inspire transformative change. Danah received a Bachelor's and Master's in History focusing on the causes and consequences of 20th-century identity and power dynamics from California State University, Long Beach.
