Leah Aldridge (she/her) began her relationship with VALOR as a Women of Color Caucus member in the 1990s while working at a local rape crisis center. She served as a board member before joining the staff as a Program Manager in 2016.

Leah leads the organization in media advocacy and training on sexual violence for diverse populations as VALOR's Director of Special Projects. She founded the Leadership, Education, Advancement for Professionals (LEAP) program, which provides emerging leaders of color with the necessary skills to advance to senior leadership positions and retain those positions. She fosters organizational change focusing on eliminating institutional and systemic barriers by supporting unserved and underserved populations. She has a Doctorate in Cinema and Media Studies from the University of Southern California.
