Marsela Rojas-Salas (she/her) is committed to advancing equity and amplifying the voices of women of color. Marsela is a Senior Project Manager at VALOR where she leads the OVW-funded Restorative Practices Project, which focuses on using restorative approaches to support survivors and foster healing within communities. She oversees the LEAP (Leadership, Education, Advancement for Professionals) program, a national leadership development initiative focused on empowering people of color.

Marsela has made significant contributions to the California Advancing PREA (Prison Rape Elimination Act) Project, where she has facilitated training for over 60 rape crisis centers on supporting incarcerated survivors and fostering partnerships with detention facilities. Her work has ensured that essential victim services are accessible within prisons, jails, juvenile facilities, and immigration detention centers while continuing to bridge the gap between correctional facilities, rape crisis centers, and incarcerated survivors.
